Best Beyerdynamic Xelento Wireless Black Friday – When the (then still purely wired) Xelento Remote (for testing) arrived in the editorial office about two years ago, the testers quickly agreed: This in-ear is a top-class sound. Accordingly, we gave it the title “Best Headphones / In-Ear (02/2017)”. In the meantime, the developers at Beyerdynamic have apparently been busy and have developed a cable; that has a battery and Bluetooth module integrated into it, making the in-ear a “wireless”.
We are pleased to present to you a list of Best Beyerdynamic Xelento Wireless Black Friday for you. I hope you will choose the best product.

Best Beyerdynamic Xelento Wireless Black Friday
You basically get the Xelento remote package consisting of ten pairs of earmolds in different sizes and materials (silicone/memory foam), a silver-plated connection cable (130 cm) with integrated media control, and hands-free functions, and of course the in-ears themselves. The wireless cable is then, so to speak, “on top”. Depending on the situation (or if the battery is empty), you can switch between wired and wireless operations.
All mechanical, optical, and tonal qualities of the Xelento Remote basically also apply to the wireless: from the noble and robust design to the excellent-sounding Tesla drivers and the serial number stamped on the rear wall.
Practice
So that the “remote” becomes “wireless”, you have to pay another two hundred euros for the Bluetooth cable. You get up to eight hours of battery life, an integrated media control and the hands-free unit, and Bluetooth transmission via the codecs Qualcomm aptX (HD), AAC, and SBC. The Bluetooth cable is simply connected to the MMCX sockets of the in-ears instead of the normal cable.
Approximately in the middle of the right half of the cable is the remote control, in the middle is a small cylinder in which the battery, radio electronics, and charging socket are located and which can be attached to clothing with a small clip. This cylinder is so light that you don’t have to attach it when you’re wearing it for a long time or jogging, then disturbs the dangling thing on the neck and you like to clip it on. The time for a full charge cycle is approximately 75 minutes. The battery then thanks you with around eight hours of operational readiness.
MIY app
For a short time now, Beyerdynamic has also been offering an app for Android and iOS for their Bluetooth devices, which has been dubbed the “MIY App”; and which can be used to individually adjust the sound behavior using a hearing test. After I installed a firmware update of the Xelento Wireless – as requested by the app in the dialog – the communication between the handset and the app worked perfectly on an Android player. Once the hearing profile has been created, you can continuously interpolate between “none” and “full adjustment”. In fact, the effect is quite dramatic: If you activate the adjustment, the Xelentos experience a significant presence boost (especially in the heights); which in the maximum position seems almost exaggerated. However, if you move between 50 and 60 percent,
Beyerdynamic is still blocking the addition of a mini-jack/jack adapter; which is annoying in that the mini-jack plug of the connection cable is wired four-pin (so that media control from Android / iOS works). Standard adapters do not work with this circuit, however, they make the signal mono.
Hearing impression
Since the Xelento Wireless – apart from the cable, of course – corresponds to the previous wired version, it also has its tonal properties. And they are just great: The Xelento sounds balanced, precise, and with extraordinary agility across the entire listening spectrum. I want to rewrite it like this: He doesn’t just play the music, no, he “plays” it. In places you find yourself looking forward to the next track in the playlist; not only because of the music but also in anticipation of how dynamically the Xelento will deliver it to the eardrum. This sound impression does not get worse even if you switch to the Bluetooth connection. At least not if the player (in our test the “Samsung A7”) is able to communicate via aptX HD.
