Skullcandy Crusher ANC Black Friday – Music You Can Feel ”- that’s Skullcandy’s motto. And you can take that literally because when it comes to “feeling” music, hardly any American lifestyle company does anything. While others give their headphones a modern bass tuning on the way, Skullcandy simply builds a fat subwoofer into the earpieces that make your ears shimmer. And that is meant literally!
We are pleased to present to you a list of Skullcandy Crusher ANC Black Friday for you. Hope you will choose for yourself the best product.

Skullcandy Crusher ANC Black Friday
Eye candy
But first something for the eye: when opening the stylish black box, Skullcandy stirs up hopes with a little saying. “Welcome to Deeper Dimensions of Sound” is written on the inner lid; elegantly printed in glossy black on a matt black background. It then continues convincingly under the lid, because a dark gray fabric case serves as a safe home for the foldable headphones including mini-jack and USB charging cables.
Plastic is the material of choice here, but the Crusher ANC is properly processed, there is nothing to complain about. The headband and the interchangeable ear pads are made of synthetic leather, with the former bearing a notch in the middle, which is intended to reduce pressure on the head of sensitive people. I rate the comfort of the listeners as mediocre: the grating of the temples works smoothly; luckily the contact pressure is not excessively high, but after about 30 minutes I notice its weight of approx. 311 grams (without cable). Crusher’s ear cups could have been a little bigger for my taste, as over-ear my ears are partly directly under the pads.
Control Candy
When it comes to control, this model has a multifunction button on the left-hand side of the handset, which, in addition to switching on / off, also controls pairing, battery check and active noise canceling. Directly underneath is the slider, which lets us continuously fade in the so-called “sensory bass” – but more on that later. Furthermore, the left pinna responds to touch – if the finger (s) linger on it for a few seconds, the Crusher ANC activates its ambient mode to let noises from outside in. On the right, we find three buttons for controlling the volume, the tracks and the calls. So everything standard so far, even if several looks into the small instructions are necessary so that everything goes smoothly.
Pairing is also quick here, and the Crusher ANC can also connect to two end devices at the same time, but only one of them can then take over the media playback accordingly.
Candy app
The Crusher not only comes with Bluetooth 5.0, noise-canceling, and sensory bass under the hood, but it is also Skullcandy’s first headphone that is equipped with a hearing personalization. Together with audio, a Swedish company that has taken on the subject of “audio personalization”, the Skullcandy app (free of charge for iOS and Android) now offers an option to compensate for possible hearing deficits using a test.
To do this, a series of test tones are played first on the left, then on the right, which must be confirmed with “Yes” or “No”. After a few minutes, two frequency curves (each for the left and right ear) are presented, which then immediately try to compensate for your own hearing impairments. Of course, you can also create and save multiple profiles, which are stored in the headphones themselves. So that these hearing correction profiles can also be changed or deactivated when the Crusher ANC is connected to a Mac or tablet, for example; the app with the stored profiles must be used. Because in the app, which was installed on an iPad as a test, there is a yawning emptiness when it comes to hearing profiles.
Finally, Skullcandy’s app doesn’t have much more to do: In addition to all sorts of links to the manufacturer’s FAQ and data protection pages, the application only offers the option of registering its Crusher ANC.
Noise-canceling
The Crusher ANC prominently bears its key feature in the product name, but how good is its active noise cancellation really? In short: mediocre at best. The ANC is far from being able to suppress ambient noise as skilfully as the (almost); equally expensive top dogs Sony ( WH-1000XM3 – for testing ) or Bose ( Headphones 700 – for testing ). The over-ear rumbles filter out low-frequency rumbling better than high frequencies, but unfortunately, that’s not really state-of-the-art.
And while we’re at “Noise”: The crusher “delights” us with clear background noise. And logically, this doesn’t get any better when ANC is on.
If you touch the left earpiece for a few seconds; the crusher switches on its ambient mode: built-in microphones amplify and fade in the ambient noise; so that we can hear train announcements or talk without having to remove the headphones. That works quite okay, but here, too, competitors are ahead.
