Best XUENUOS T9 TWS Black Friday and Cyber Monday Deals & Sales 2023. The growing popular fervor for true wireless headphones is pushing obscure manufacturers to try their luck. This is the case with Delinuo with its TWS-T9 intros: a € 40 model which seems to be very successful… wrongly.

The essential to remember

We welcomed the Delinuo TWS-T9s in our labs during our file “In search of good true wireless headphones at less than 60 €”. Reading this article will give you some context on this test and its condensed format.

Delano TWS-T9 does the minimum in design. The materials used and the care taken in the finishes do not inspire great confidence, and this is all the more the case when we discover the transport case. This one breaks records of size and weight; bring a very large pocket or a bag to take with you. It only has the advantage of offering a large number of recharges and acting as a power bank(external battery). The comfort provided by the intros is very average: the headphones are relatively bulky; the feeling of pressure at the entrance to the duct is relatively high and they are sensitive to vibrations caused by footsteps (solid-state transmissions).

The TWS-T9 will still find their place in the big ears, but it will be difficult to keep them for long sessions. The support is not incredible either: the fault in the slippery plastic coating used on the headphones.

The user experience is not very pleasant either. The usual commands are all available (even the volume); but it takes some time to tame them (passage through the manual is very strongly recommended). In addition, the activation of controls lacks responsiveness; and it happens regularly that we accidentally touch the panel while trying to reposition the intros. Many sound and voice indications are integrated, but their quality leaves something to be desired, which makes some particularly unpleasant.

The wireless connection via Bluetooth 5.0 did not show any big stability problems and it is possible to use the headphones in mono solo. Not surprisingly, the latency is nevertheless particularly high. Even when going through a mobile application natively compensating for a certain part of the latency, there is still a small difference between sound and image. The autonomy offered by this model is low: only about 3 h 30 min per charge.

If the experience of using the TWS-T9 is just fair, it is a disaster in terms of sound performance. Very unbalanced frequency response, precision in picking up, especially in the bass, absence of treble, distortion in the midrange / high midrange … this model combines the bad points. The sound reproduction is very muffled, the bass is omnipresent and overflows on the higher frequencies, and the timbres are altered. It is very difficult to perceive the elements in the foreground correctly and the voices are struggling to be heard. In short, nothing is right.

Pros

  • Many charges were offered by the imposing charging case.
  • Solo use is possible (with mono summation in this case).

Cons

  • Extremely unbalanced sound reproduction, very poor respect for timbres.
  • Completely pick up precision, especially at low frequencies.
  • Little bulky headphones.
  • Impractical and intuitive touch panels.
  • Very average autonomy (approximately 3 h 30 min).

Conclusion

True wireless intros Delinuo TWS-T9 sign a hell of a performance. More than ever, we advise you to go your way and look at other models that are really worth seeing, such as the JBL Tune 120TWS. They are certainly a little more expensive, but this is the minimum investment to acquire a good model of true wireless ultras.
