Best Garmin Vivosport Black Friday The Garmin Vivosport is convinced with exact tracking and excellent equipment. The Vivosport is Garmin’s smallest fitness tracker with built-in GPS. Outdoor activities can thus be recorded in detail – optionally also automatically via the so-called Move IQ function. The tracker is operated using touch gestures on the easy-to-read display at all times.
The silicone wristband is soft and adapts well to the wrist, but is sensitive to scratching and unfortunately not changeable. Due to the long running time of 8 days and the extensive equipment, the Garmin Vivosport is a recommendation for recreational athletes.

Garmin Vivosport Black Friday 2023 Reviews
Design
The Vivosport looks like the Vivosmart 3 (test report). Garmin relies on silicone, the 9.7 × 19.3 mm color touch display is firmly integrated into the bracelet. In addition to the gray-black device that we had in the test, the Vivosport also comes in Limelight (a yellow-green shade) and Fuchsia Focus (bright red). But be careful: not all models are available in all sizes, and the S / M variant is almost too narrow for wide wrists. In the test, we were able to fasten the clasp in the last hole, everything else was too tight.
Nevertheless, the tracker held well and was comfortable to carry. The wide bracelet does not constrict and holds the Vivosport so tight that it can reliably measure the pulse. The tracker did not interfere with sleep either.
Operation is even easier with the color touchscreen than with the black and white Vivosmart 3. The information is clearly displayed with 72 (x) 144 pixels, and the device responds very well to inputs. The display can still be seen in direct sunlight, but it is better to cast a shadow on it.
App
The Garmin Connect app is extremely extensive, but at the same time pleasantly simple. The first look shows the most important information of the last day. A click on the data then goes into depth: The heart rate, for example, shows exact details of the pulse, and events such as the alarm clock, sleep time, or activities can also be seen in the timeline.
On the left side, further information can be called up, for example on training, routes, equipment, or activities. Further analyses can be called up via the item Insights, via “Live” and “Golf” which lead to further, integrable Garmin apps.
We already liked the intelligence of the app in the last test. This not only collects data, but also intelligently delivers it back to the user. You can see that in the steps: The app dynamically adjusts the daily goal. For those who reach their goal often, their step goal goes up, for those who do less, their steps go down.
Battery pack
The running time of the Vivosport surprised us positively. The tracker can do a week without GPS. When the GPS is activated, the runtime drops significantly – days become hours – but it is still significantly longer than the Huawei Band 2 Pro. So longer training sessions are feasible. The included charger, a USB cable with a proprietary connector, fully recharges the tracker in under an hour.
Conclusion
We already liked the Vivosmart 3, the Vivosport puts it a step further. The mixture of intelligent software, an integrated GPS module, and reasonable battery life makes the fitness tracker a solid companion for athletes. We would only wish for an intelligent wake-up function, and the GPS fix should go significantly faster in some cases.
If you are looking for a fitness tracker that not only records the activities but also the sports units outside, you can strike without hesitation.
